This is Nav Ghali. In less than five months, he went from having pains in his stomach to being diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. His sudden passing in February of 2017 altered the lives of his young family and his immediate family. Words cannot express what he meant to his family and his loss will be felt by everyone he knew and came across.
Nav always wanted to create a business with his family and so, to fulfill his dream, Laksh Labs was Incorporated in August of 2017. Drawing on his energy, and drive to make the world a better place, we will build on three key tenets we learned with Nav over his 35 years with us:
- Time: our most valuable asset / currency is time. We don’t know how much time we have. How we carry ourselves, in the time we are allotted, will define the impact we make.
- Human Potential: Recognizing that time is limited, do you spend your time trying to achieve your truest and highest potential? Harnessing that potential, are you driven to make an impact in every aspect of your life: your health, your relationships, your careers, your passions…
- Connecting with people: One of Nav’s greatest strengths was his ability to connect with people. Whether as a friend, a leader, or as a comedian, Nav had an innate ability to connect with people, and furthermore, to connect people with each other. He recognized one thing: regardless of technology or processes, it all came down to people. And when you bring people together, especially folks with different backgrounds, what can be accomplished is unparalleled.
We have yet to realize what we can accomplish as global citizens / villagers.
